Claire Phillips graduated UTS in 2008 with a BA in Communications (MAP). During this time she was awarded the Kodak Award in collaboration with Cinematographer Erin Black, for her graduate short film Tundra. Since graduating, Claire has worked as the Production Coordinator at Dungog Film Festival, and Marketing and Distribution Coordinator at Australian Film Syndicate. Claire’s writing and directing credits include Iris, a short experimental film which screened at Newtown Flicks and WOW Film Festival, and Tundra, winner of the Youth category at Canberra Short Film Festival, and winner of Best Overall Film and Best Script at the biennial UTS Golden Eye award. Claire has just completed the short film The Boys with ThirdHalf Productions and is currently working on the adaptation of Mandy Sayer’s We Want Our Dealer Back.
